Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors is the world's leading professional body for property and land. Membership requires successful completion of the Assessment of Professional Competence, mandatory continuing professional development each calendar year, and adherence to the RICS Rules of Conduct and Ethical Standards. Every report we issue is prepared in accordance with the RICS Valuation — Global Standards (the "Red Book").

Appraisal Institute, Chicago

The Appraisal Institute is the leading professional body for real estate appraisers in the United States. Mr. Thwaites is a designated member and is trained to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) — the standards required by US-based lenders, investors, and federal agencies for cross-border instructions.

Realtors Association of Jamaica & Real Estate Board

The Real Estate Board of Jamaica is the statutory body responsible for regulating the real estate profession in Jamaica under the Real Estate (Dealers and Developers) Act. The practice is licensed under the Act, and Mr. Thwaites is a Dealer Member of the Realtors Association of Jamaica (DL-0537). All valuers operating under the firm are registered with the Board.

The firm carries professional indemnity insurance in accordance with RICS requirements. All valuers operating under the practice complete the mandatory annual CPD prescribed by their respective professional bodies.
